What this means for me?

As the hospital is Smokefree, you will not be able to smoke whilst you are here. This means we will ask you not to bring cigarettes with you or to smoke at all whilst on our sites.

As vaping is at least 95% less harmful than smoking, we will also be encouraging people who cannot stop using support and medication alone to try vaping as a way of stopping smoking entirely.

Vaping is allowed outdoors on all sites, and we ask those people who do vape to be considerate of others and not to vape near entrances and open windows.

Nicotine replacement products are available at all hospital pharmacies.
